Angry AT Shifting issue

I own a 08 G37S 5AT and recently when the car is in manual mode it sometimes does back into the drive setting, showing D in the red center read out. The shifter becomes useless and the car shifts just as if in drive mode. Even putting it in neutral or park (both of which work fine) and back to Manual mode does not help. The only way to get the car into DS mode or Manual shifting mode is to completely turn it off and on again.

Has anyone had this problem? Any input would help.

There are 2 misc parts they changed besides the shifter, look over the repair order. If you dont have the part#s ill get them for you. I had the exact same problem.I thought the tranmission was going.
