2010 G37 w/ NAV: Upgrade Options
I've seen countless posts regarding folks looking to either:
-Add Navi to their non-Navi G
-Add bluetooth or AUX inputs to their non-Navi G
-Modify iPod/USB support for their non-Navi G
However, there doesn't seem to be much out there in terms of modifying or upgrading a G that already has Navi. My problem is that, like many other 2010 G37 w/Nav owners, my bluetooth SUCKS. It skips, hesitates and is flat out useless for audio streaming; I would normally let this go since I can hook up my iPhone directly via USB and get neat features like album art work and playlist browsing. However, the bluetooth connection between my Apple Watch and iPhone seems to completely disrupt the G's phone features-- my bluetooth phone features are basically unusable unless I place my watch on airplane mode prior to making or receiving a phone call. So with the aforementioned problems in mind, I'm looking to do something to change or upgrade either the entire Nav system or at least the bluetooth portion of it.
-The GROM kit most people go with does not work with Nav cars, and as I understand there is no aux input in my car that I can plug a standalone bluetooth/a2dp unit into, is there?
-I tried the Bevo/WMA bluetooth-to-usb emulator device and it flat out did not work for me-- I even tried all the hacks out there people suggested with getting the 30-pin version + 30-pin-to-USB cable + separate charger. Even so, this would only fix the streaming and not the phone features.
-How about if I try to buy or salvage the navi from a newer G (say 2012 or 2013), would that plug and play / swap directly into my 2010 G w/Nav?
Can anyone provide any information regarding what can be done if you already have Nav but hate the bluetooth?
Thanks!

GROM update compatibility but 500$
Lot of people use this for streaming music : https://www.ebay.com/itm/HomeSpot-R%...53.m2749.l2649
If you buy 2012/2013 for upgrade wiring is not same, a member make a plug and play kit but it's very expensive : https://www.ebay.com/itm/Upgrade-kit...gAAOSwX61ZAd3j

It was just a matter of time before someone took the time out to hack this AV system... I just wish he was a little more forthcoming with what hardware he used/how he set it all up...
Still, it's above my pay grade, but it will be interesting to see what develops...
