Did you use the bose amp wires for + and - or did you tap into the rear sub?

The reason why I ask is because I would like to also install a sub and amp but would like to be able to use the factory headunit to adjust the bass rather than adding and running wire for a bass ****.

I installed my sub and amp in my 08 TL and tapped into the rear sub - and + wires for power and was able to control my aftermarket sub from my factory headunit.

I kept all the oem bose system intact, i believe that system sounds just great it just needed a bit of help with bass. I tap into the rear speakers not the woofer, according to the info that i gathered they have a more cleaned signal. I will be putting a bass volume *** just so that i can have better control of the bass, as you know every music is different. .

I will likely tap into the rears as well simply from what I understand, the Bose system reduces the sub at higher volumes. So until I hear otherwise, that will likely be the route I will take.

Does anyone know if I can replace the OEM 10" Sub in the back with a new sub / amp? And does the Bose amp power all 10 speakers ? I have every package except Tech on my g37
