Charge phone through mirror?
Hey, i was wondering if anyone knows of a product that will allow me to charge my phone when its mounted on the windshield without having a wire hanging down, something similar to wiring a radar to the mirror?

Went and brought a car charger, ripped it apart and wired it in

well done/good idea/ive got the same phone mount - running the charger from the lighter location is a PITA.

i'd love to do the same but wiring makes me nervous!

There isn't much room to mess up, just pull the charger apart and solder off the connectors it no longer uses, solder on the wires and heat shrink it for some protection.
