Navi Display blank, grey or with horizontal lines

Good morning all, I have been having an issue with my Navi display since it's gotten below freezing up here in Connecticut. More often than not, when I first start the G in the morning, my Navi display is either not lit at all, grey, or has some horizontal banding instead of an actual display of any type. Once I warm up the car, if I simply shut it off and restart, everything is back to normal. I haven't seen anyone else post about this issue and am just looking for some feedback. I did purchase an Infiniti Extended Warranty, so if this issue is a one off, for $100 I can start to recoup the expense of the contract and get the issue fixed.

Leave it overnight parked outside at the dealer and obtain a loaner.
Show up in the morning when the dealer opens, meet the service manager & show them the problem.

Good luck

FWIW my IPod doesn't always work immediately when getting into a cold car until the cabin temp warms my car.
