Keyless Entry Not Working in Cold Weather

I have a 2009 G37x. I live in western PA so the winters are somewhat brutal.

This winter, my fob won't unlock the doors when it is colder than 20 degrees F. I also have to put the fob into the slot to start my car.

Has anyone else experienced this? And would it be the car or the fob that's the issue? I'm guessing the car since it works as fine in warmer weather.

It sounds like you need to replace the battery

I leave the FOB in my pocket and just press the button on the door.

That doesn't work either when its ~20 or colder. The entire key less entry system does not work.
