Has anyone wired the factory camera into the A/V input?

As of right now I decided against the side mirror camera. To me the benefit is limited for the amount of work it would take to make it happen. I'm quite content with the power fold mirrors with the OEM winkers.

I'm actually going to order the front camera kit in the next week or so and should have it installed soon thereafter.

The OEM kit includes a switch and control init which will handle the imaging.

When you say video wire, I assume you mean that it's a different type of wire than just a standard audio wiring type wire? I don't have to use an RCA wire from camera to center console, right?

I'm not sure, you can try it, I just bought a 17 foot video cable from amazon.
