Security System

I took my 2008 G37S for license inspection on Friday. I passed without any problems. The problem is that the mechanic that inspected my car set off an alarm inside the car. It shuts off when inside the car and the door is shut. Another problem I discovered is, I parked the car in my garage for the week end and today, Sunday, the car will not start and the alarm sounds when the door is opened. Also the headlights and the tail light stay lit. The car is immobilized. I tried the reset procedures as recommended in the owners manual, but alas no luck. Any ideas on what to do before I call for a transport to the dealer? I'm really ticked off at the car shop that inspected my car. Never again.

Well, I feel stupid. The mechanic who inspected my car left the headlight switch on. I always leave my lights on "auto". Hence the alarm, lights and tail light on and dead battery. I never knew an alarm would sound inside your car if your head lights are left on. Early dementia on my part.
