So I already have the Navtool to be able to display another video input on the stock screen. But I ran into a problem, once your on iOS 7.1 you cannot revert back to 7.0 to be able to jailbreak it and DisplayOut. So I think I came up with another solution.

I have the Navtool, so I will run the Kivic One to that for wireless airplay mirroring and also hook up the Mimicsx2 board with a touchscreen overlay to be able to use the factory screen as a touchscreen. Does this idea sound good?

Also, the Kivic One has AV inputs but I was only going to use the Yellow for video. But then that got me thinking if maybe I could wirelessly stream music through this as well... Is there a way to run only the 2 audio cables to the USB port? In that case, I'd have Airplay mirroring and wireless music too.

This is definitely going to be an expensive setup... but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes.

 

I just got my Mimicsx2 in the mail, boy is this thing small... Now just waiting on the touchscreen overlay and kivics one and the show will be on the road.
