Just got my 2009 x coupe. I am curious if there is a software update to the dash/screen. Both nav maps but also general firmware and UI. Hard to search google as I don't know what to call it.

Does such a thing exist? If so, how do you do it?

You purchase the update off of Infiniti official web page then your local Infiniti dealer does the install and upgrade.

 

Do you happen to know how much would that cost? or ball park?

I can guarantee you that this update won't change anything with your UI. You might get a few more points of interest on the maps, but I think I've heard people complain that roads/addresses that weren't in earlier ones might not get resolved in these updates either.

Basically a waste of 149 + 99 install.

I have a 2010 and when I was in the Infiniti dealership,to have another key made they said their was an update for my car. I have the Nav. They installed it for free for me.

 

The nav is really, really outdated, almost unusable around here. Oh well, nothing a little velcro and an ipad mini can't fix
