I'm wondering if there is any difference between the G25 and G37 non-nav units? It seems unlikely and it would be unfortunate since the reviews of the G25 mention how lackluster the display. For example:

Winding Road | Driven: 2011 Infiniti IPL G Coupe And G25 Sedan

"The G25's low-resolution unit lacks clarity, and its screen seems overly prone to glare. At this point, there is not a solution because the G25 has a restricted option list, and the nav system with a better screen is restricted to G37 models."

It appears that it's not just a low resolution issue, it is also has excessive glare which presumably the nav unit dosen't suffer from.
Pretty sure they are the same resolution - G25 and G37 no nav. It wouldnt really make since for Infiniti to have come out with a lower resolution screen for the G25 for a myriad of reasons.

I rarely have glare issues (unless moon roof is open on a sunny day). Even then it isnt enough to mention. Plus, this will come on most newer cars with screens since they are getting rid of the hood or sunken look of the screens. (old BMW versus new BMW; old Acura versus new Acura; you get the idea)

I was wondering is someone with a non-nav unit on a 2010 or greater could post a screen shot similar to this:

Would it be possible to swap out the non-nav LCD screen with a nav one to get the boost in resolution only? I suspect that it may not be that simple but was curios if anyone has looked into it.

^ the non-nav screen has been the same (in the sedan) from 07 to 13. Nothing has changed.
The harness pin connector on the back of a non-nav and nav LCD screen are different. The pin configurations even vary from model year to model year for the same LCD.

the resolution was the same ,but the screen was brighter and maybe there is something on the screen to help with polarized glasses .
