I have a 2011 IPL. When I connect the white Mac cable that came with the phone into the USB hub to the car, the car just keeps flipping between no USB/No data back and fourth non stop.

The phone funtion works fine however I cantr seem to get the music to play. My Ipad3 works fine so I am not sure what is wrong.

 

Try using the bluetooth to stream the music.

 

How do you do that? When I select bluetooth on the car it says no devices attached. My Iphone bluetooth is on though.

 

First go to the Bluetooth setting in the car. Then select connect device. Select no as you want it to connect as a phone (unless you don't). After connected as a phone go back to Bluetooth settings and select audio device and select your phone. Now when you press the aux button it will go from dvd to Bluetooth device.
