09 g37s - Bluetooth doesn't always connect

Purchased my car about 2 months ago and successfully paired it to my iPhone 4 via Bluetooth. Problem is that it doesn't always connect to my phone when I get in the car. Sometimes I have to go into settings -> Bluetooth on my phone and it will pair up. Then it seems like it automatically connects the next several times I get in the car. But then randomly will stop doing it until I force it to connect again.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

I ,unfortunately, do not have a solution for you, but I can tell you the same thing happened to me. I upgraded to an iPhone 5 and now it pairs every single time without issue. Obviously there is some kind of conflict between the iPhone 4 and the car. Sorry I couldn't be any more help just wanted to let you know it seems to be a phone issue and not a car issue.

what firmware are you on with your iphone. Also sometime there could be updates to the car's bluetooth firmware that may help.

My phone's IOS is up to date but the car's on the other hand maybe another story. How do you go about updating that. Not trying to jack your thread Gopennst8. I sit at a computer almost all day so always trolling

this has been a problem for most..my iphone 4 worked fine on '10 g37 but had problems when i got the iphone 5, specifically disconnecting all incoming calls..after a recent iphone update it seems to have fixed the problem. my suggestion would be to delete the phone on the car's bluetooth settings as well as going into the phone' bluetooth settings/devices and press on "forget this device".. do a hard reboot on your iphone then pair the phone again to your car and hopefully this should solve your problem..
