Help. Advice needed.

Hey boys and girls,

Current set up is audio control lc2
JL10w6
JLHD750/1
Boxology enclosure

Here's the thing. A friend of mine has a set of focals that he's selling. Cheap. It's a 3 way set. Plus he has 11 inch woofers. Not subwoofers. Woofers.

Here's the problem.

A) not sure if I can make the 11 inch woofer fit the door. Does anyone have a confirmed max depth with max spacer? I think speaker mounting depth is 13cms.

B) I reeeeeeaaaaallly am too lazy and poor to buy another amp and invest a lot of time into the sound system. At least until next winter.

Has anyone found success replacing speakers and not the garbage amp and happy with the results???

Worst case scenario. I go all out and do a full on sound system. But I'd rather just swap speakers and call it a day.

ANY input in this matter will be greatly appreciated!!!

Focals

Sena,
I am installing Dyn componets now its a lot of work. I have had a BMW 135 with Rainbows in the doors and a JL XD 600/6 running it was sweet in that case too there were 9' under the seat. I ran a JBL MS8 processor too that just tied everything together. I would say to wait till you get an multi ch amp. And then you can't lose.
