Hey guys,

Looking to use an apple TV to stream music via the RCA. I have an 08 stock system with nav. I understand the video feed will shut off while driving- I am NOT looking for a way around this. But I am wondering... while streaming music via RCA cables, if I switch to Navigation- will it shut the audio feed off or continue playing while the map is showing?

I'm at work so can't test right now, but I'm 99% sure that the audio will cutout when you switch away from the RCA out.

 

Can someone please confirm an answer?... I do not currently have any RCA components.
