Compatibility/features of various G37 models

I'm in the market for a used G37 but am not sure what model/package goes with what.
What I think I know...
2010 and higher w/nav is required for A2DP bluetooth streaming

2009 and earlier with premium and/or nav (which?) is required to have aux in rca plugs in the center console

This device GVIF Interface for Lexus/Toyota/Land Rover/Cadillac/Jaguar
Will allow aux video input for a 2010+ nav unit. Does it provide aux video in for a non-nav unit?

What is the difference between the above GVIF device and this tool as far as functionality and compatibility?
INFINTI G35/G37 2007-2010 NAVIGATION VIDEO INTERFACE

Is there anyway to get aux video in on 2010 and higher base model G37s?

I'm already leaning towards getting a 2010 but my main decision is whether to get the base model or the full navi... the difference in price appears to be around $1500. The navi itself is good reason to get it but in addition I like a2dp to listen to pandora from my droid. I could deal with using the xm hack to get bluetooth via a separate device since that is setup in my current car. However doing this means I lose the ability to control the music from the steering wheel. Also it appears that the GVIF device only works on cars with the nav but that seems counter intuitive if the device just gets connected to the LCD. If anyone can help me with these details I would appreciate it.

Yeah, if you can deal without the component cables then I would go with the 2010+. I wasn't a huge fan of the front of the 2009- except for the sport front bumpers, otherwise I would've gone with a 2010+.

In my opinion if you're telling yourself that you might want the nav or any of the other packages I would just suggest going ahead and getting them, that way you cant kick yourself after you've bought the car for not getting it. For me I would rather have the options and not use them then not have them and wish I did.
