I did the factory reset and paired the phone. The cell phone part of the bluetooth paired fine and was auto-reconnecting after I turned the car off. But when I went the go start the bluetooth audio part of the phone, the cell phone part will not auto-reconnect. SOOOO frustrating...

Does anyone else have the bluetooth audio to play through their car? Does both the audio and cell phone auto reconnect?

I am having similar problems. S3 will not auto-connect. It takes several tries to get both Car Phone and Media Audio to both connect. Very frustrating.

I have the Verizon S3. Tried the battery pull thing, and there was no effect. I have not tried a wipe system data yet, since that is very drastic, and still not proven effective. This is a major problem with the S3. Hope the next OTA update fixes it.

My bluetooth phone is disconnected as soon as I connect to bluetooth audio. I have to reboot the phone to make the bluetooth phone auto connect again. Very frustrating.

As long as I don't connect to bluetooth audio, my phone always auto connect.

My old Driod X used to auto connect phone and play bluetooth audio. So I'm sure this is definitely an issue with S3. Hopefully Samsung will fix this on the next OTA update.

I am having he exact same problem. Both phone and audio connect. Start playing audio and phone disconnects. Won't reconnect until I reboot phone.

Mine still isn't working either, I heard it happens primarily for the verizon version. At least it's not the car bluetooth.

Talking

My S3 got a Verizon OTA update few days ago. Problem completely solved. Now my phone automatically connects to my G as well as bluetooth audio work flawlessly. I just got a chance to test it out today and I'm now happy!

Quick question, I have a verizon S3 but it has a custom AOSP ROM, slimbean 3 to be exact.

Every time I turn on my car with my phone's bluetooth on, it says samsung galaxy s3 disconnected, I have to wait 30 seconds and it will automatically connect. This occurs every time for me, was just wondering if this is what happened to everyone, or if your phones connect as soon as the car turns on.

thanks
