Question Help Me Choose an amplified sub package

Hey Guys I'md so exited I will be picking up my IP G37s 6mt on Wednesday and the first mod I want to do is add an amplified sub enclosure to add some bass to the Bose system. I am looking for clean sound with a good amount of kick for a budget while I save up for my full audio system upgrade. I have listed my 2 choices below with links any advice would be great.
.

Rockford Fosgate R300-10
Rockford Fosgate R300-10 (r30010) Amplified 10" 4 ohm Prime

500W JL Audio Subwoofer + Realm Amplifier Bass Bundle
500W JL Audio 12" WX Sub + Realm A200.2 Amp + Kit + Subwoofer Box

500watt mono block alpine amp with a 10" type S in a sealed box. it will thump. thats what i put in mine. i built a fiberglass and MDF box so as to not loose the ability ot lay down the seat and only lost 1ft2 of cargo space.

I would search craigslist depending on where you live, people are always looking to sell car audio and you can get some pretty good deals on there. Look for a newer jl w3 it will sound clean and give you the bump you want without requiring alot of power. For the amp look for a jl 500/1 i seen them for 150 on craigslist. And for the box go to your local shop or online and find a box that is ported it will make a difference. Just remember you just spent 40+ K on your car get something nice and clean. best of luck

I've got a Boxology enclosure on order. Was thinking of the same JL 10w6 (or 10W3 if I'm stingy) and a JL XD 600/1 amp.

My BIG question is this: Will I have to worry about battery/alternator drain? You know, dimming the headlights, etc?

After some research I've decided to go with this Setup. I was so torn between the Polk SR sub and the IDq10.

1 Polk Audio SR104-DVC
1 Polk Audio PA1200.1 Car Amplifier
Zenclosure box

Do You think a Capacitor would be needed for this setup?

I guess our questions are similar.
Maybe the better question is: How much power can you run in our cars before having to worry about taxing the factory electrical system (headlights dimming, etc)?

I'd love to know!

To the OP, doesn't that car already come with an upgraded stock system with multiple 10" subs? You looking for more bass?

Yeah I do have the Premium SOW but the bass is definitely not to my liking. I was looking to get some good SQ subs to make up for the lack of bass.

Why buy a boxology enclosure for ~$300 when a Zenclosure box is like $110? Also when you install an amp/sub have you guys ever had problems with battery/alternator drain?
