I agree. Works great using the stock Music app. However I've recently been using Spotify almost exclusively so i dont carry most of my music on the phone anymore. Hopefully we'll see Spotify, Pandora and others add this feature to their apps real soon.

OH just a heads up. My son was watching a youtube video and when I last had the car on i was listening to bluetooth audio, and when I started it again it started the youtube and displayed everything on the screen as what it was. I was kinda of supprised to see Monster truck destruction written on my screen and a crowd going wild lol. SO I dont see why pandora cant do this as well in their app.

I posted in another thread about this issue..I also noticed immediately upon upgrading to ios 5 on iphone 4 that the artist/track info DID display through the bluetooth audio, but unfortunately it only shows once in a while?? It takes several minutes to load initially and then won't show any info half the time? Don't think it's a g37 ('10) problem since it did show several times, but rather a glitch with the ios 5 software..hope apple will fix it with their next update! Anybody else have similar experiences?

I noticed the same issue until I went to the dealership and had the free software upgrade which made only a few second delay between track changed on my 2010. Call your dealer and they will look up your VIN and tell you if you qualify for the free software upgrade. Should fix your issue.

I just updated my 3rd gen Ipod touch to ios5 and it now displays track info while using bluetooth audio. Will come in handy when i need the USB port for something else.

so my '07 sedan doesn't currently do bluetooth audio streaming, just bluetooth connection for calls. Is there an update the dealership can do to my bluetooth to allow this or am i just SOL if i don't have one of the newer cars?

i think the BT audio only works for 2010 and newer models..there seems to be conflicting answers to my problem of artist/track info showing only sometimes? Some say it works just fine and others claim no? Is this a car problem to be solved by a software update at dealership or an ios 5 phone software glitch? It can't be both so those who say it works fine lead me to believe it's a phone issue for me! Plus I find it hard to believe Infiniti has a software fix only 2 weeks after the ios 5 was released! Guess I'll just continue to listen to my XM/Sirius stations for now.

i do tech support for iPhones and i haven't heard anything about it. If you were to call in about it, we would basically tell you to talk to infiniti bc it sounds like the apple device is working correctly

A recent update to Pandora has now enabled the track info over bluetooth. Yay. Also just noticed that I get track info using the gMusic app, which is a native player for Google Music. If only Spotify would update as well, all will be grand.
