iPhone 4G question

Hi, sorry for maybe stupid question Anyway how could I stream video from iphone 4 to my 09G37x coupe? I have plug to connect ipod but I can't see video it is only works for sound. I am OK if it is only going to work on parking brake, that is what I need for now. Do I need another cable?

the connection that you are using for the iphone plug in, thats just for sound...


I'm not sure if there is anyway to play videos from your iphone at all...i could be wrong.

iPod adapter with RCA plugs connected to the RCA plugs in the car. Apple makes one. I think 09s have RCA plugs?

I havent seen the apple rca plugs,but if there is no yellow video plug with it then video wont work with those either

The new composite AV cable the Kidcane posted a picture of is what you need. But there are a couple of caveats.

First, the video only works when you're parked (as you thought).

Next, the 2009 doesn't have a USB port so your iPhone/iPod will be running on battery the whole time. You will probably want something like this:

USB Car Charger

Then the USB connector on the AV cable will plug in to it and voila'.

In theory, at least.
