Hmm, I will give that a shot! Thanks!
Ok, so I got the warning to go away and it looked like it wanted to play. The screen turned black and it shows a clock in the top right. The iPod is playing the video and I can hear it but it is not showing up. Wrong format maybe?

I have the one pictured above and I can listen to music and watch videos on the screen when the car is off and the emergency brake is off.
Since it's aux I cannot control the songs from the steering wheel. My car is a 2008 G37 coupe no nav unit. the only videos I can see on my iphone are mp4

My 2010 G37 doesnt have the output for this cable, but my moms 2010 fx 35 does.
Whats the deal? can i install it somehow? or is it just hidden...
i see the openings but there is nothing to plug into.

If your iphone/pod is jailbroken you can add video output (I had a 4s/4 and it would work) but in order to view videos with that cable you would have to do the video bypass hack which in some forums is a no no to discuss because of legal issues.
