I'm having a lot of problems with vlc lately. I downloaded the latest version at the vlc player download page but for some reason it keeps crashing all the time. If you don't know where to look then check out the vlc player download page. Here's the link to vlc player download page if somebody doesn't know what it is.

Does this have anything to do with the car? I thought VLC was a standalone video player for computers....?

Total spam and completely out of left field.

On a related note, I only use VLC on all my machines (Windows/OSX) and it works fine.

 

I really love VLC, it plays everything. Maybe the OP found a way to have it run on the G37 so it can play .mkv, .avi, etc.
