Installing Homelink Mirror?

Picked up a deal on one of those Gentex Homelink Mirrors. Comes with a harness with red, black, and yellow wires.

Can anyone help saving me the agony of trying to figuring out installing this on my G37X sedan? First of course is how to remove the old mirror (crossing fingers mirror mounts are universal I assume). Then I see a small hole in the headliner and the front center edge of the sunglass holder/cabin light assembly so I'm guessing that was for if the homelink mirror came stock so just need to figure out how to remove the cabin light cover from the headliner to access the wires and figure out which wires to tap into.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Ground wire -> any metal part.
Power (constant) -> battery, always-on power source like interior map lights.
Power (on/off with ignition) -> cigarette lighter.

You can find all these in the fuses box.

I'd happily give up my homelink for a mirror with a freakin' compass. My garage door opener is Security+ so it's useless to me anyway.

My mirror has both compass and homelink. It's useless to me because I have the nav.

I have Nav, but I just liked having a compass where I could see it. The compass is gone for the 2010 model unfortunately.
