iPhone Bluetooth A2DP skipping problem *solved*

I suppose this is as good a first post as any. I had the skipping issue for a very long time and tried every possible solution on this forum to no avail. I had given up. Then last night I upgraded to the new iOS 4. Pretty nice improvement for the iPhone. I figured I would give it a try with the new OS. Well, whatya know..... NO MORE SKIPPING!!! It played absolutely perfectly! Sounds really good too. Pandora, AOL, iPod.... It all plays perfectly. I'm very happy now. So, for all of you still having this problem, try upgrading your iOS. It seems like it might be the fix for the skipping issue. It was for me. Post back with your experiences.

I had the same stutter/skip problem, and the OS 4.0 cured mine 95%-100% depending on the station and settings.

I get no skips on: 1) Tunemark with a 30 second buffer, and 2) Pandora with the "Higher Quality Audio" turned off.

Another thing that is fixed with 4.0 is that you are no longer prompted to go into Airplane mode when using the Scosche adapter. There is a message about compatibility with a dismiss button but no more accidentally hitting yes and turning off the radios.

Glad your A2DP works. If only Infiniti could update the 2008 and 2009's so we can have it also.

Can't you play Pandora etc. through the USB port? The 2010s cannot. We are limited to Bluetooth for streaming online radio. Which is why the OS 4.0 fix is so crucial.

I could have sworn I was able to play Pandora in my 2010. It's my wife's car so I don't drive it often, so this comes from memory.

Plug the iPhone into the USB jack
The stereo will switch to the iPod and read the files
Stop the iPhone from playing the music by using the stereo's control to stop it
Go to the iPhone and select Pandora and the it will stream Pandora through USB

I recall making the remark that Pandora sounded very muddy.

Thanks for the tip. When I had my Bluetooth stutter problem, I tried 9 ways from Sunday to play Pandora over my USB, and couldn't get it to work. I'll try your way next!
