software lag in 2010 models....normal?
The user interface was snappy on my 08 sedan....navigation worked perfect, flipped through menu's nice and quickly....even voice commands took right away
with my 2010 coupe, i feel like the software hangs and lags. switching from radio to nav....and it takes a good 15 seconds to switch. other times going to input the address takes 10 seconds for it to pop up
anyone else have this issue? something worth taking to the dealer?

Damn, I thought I was the only one with a defective software. Everything that you just explained is happening to my vehicle. I feel like taking it to the dealer and ask if there is a software upgrade or something. It gets annoying when trying to get to a destination.
Software lag
I previously had a 2008 G35x w/nav. I was always impressed by the rapid response to screen changes. I now have a 2010 G37x w/nav. I also find the system is VERY slow to respond.
I informed my dealer and I also called Infiniti customer service to voice my disappointment.
Please voice your disappoints so that maybe we will get an update to this problem.

Mine isn't quite so bad. However some of the navigation features are severely lagged. Sometimes the system will hang for 10-30 seconds after entering a destination. Other times the voice prompts will be extremely delayed.
Mine lags too. I had a 2008 G35 and it was much faster. I also had a re-boot right in the middle of going to a destination. I had to reset my destination.
My bluetooth headset makes a gargled distorted sound when I'm using it versus the built in bluetooth. If I turn bluetooth off in the settings, the garbled sound goes away. Did not have this problem using the same phone and headset with my 2008 G35. The XM radio also seems less sensitive. when I go under a bridge overpass I lose the signal
