Guys I have a question regarding the new 2010 models that have the new navigation software along with the menu screen layouts as pictured below. My question is that if I were to get the '09-10 navigation updates from navteq, will it contain the new software like that in the 2010 models have with the new menu screen layouts as well as the new map format? Thanks guys!

software is software... it won't look like that. it's the same as seeing if you can get LCD 1080p quality in a 1995 Sony Tricolor TV set

 

The navigation updates you're asking about are just map and POI database updates.

 

You need the new screen to take advantage of the higher resolution. If you want the nav updated with new maps, the dealer has that. There was a thread on that sometime back.
