where to install/mount your amp?

Hey guys, I am getting a sub installed tomorrow. I am trying to figure out the best spot to mount the amp. Where did you guys mount it? the back of the backseat? on the box? somewhere else? Any help would be great. Need to figure this out within the next 10 hours!

If you're getting a box mounted behind the seat, then you could build a false wall that doesn't touch the box and mount on that. You could also put it under the trunk floor depending on size. You don't want to mount the amp to the box itself due to vibration.

thanks guys, I ended up mounting on the backseat. It sounds great! So happy that I finally got a sub installed. I need to get the trunk dynamated though, since it rattles now when I turn it up...LOL
