When I get my car, I doubt I'd renew it either. Anywhere I go is pretty much within an hour's drive... I just check online for more up-to-date traffic. Usually works out fine that way.

In LA it works GREAT! I haven't noticed lags in updates. I totally rely on it and am ticked the nav in my new truck doesn't come close to comparing the features that infiniti's has in options and my all time fav is the real time traffic! I would not hesitate to renew xm just for it.

I’m not sure what you mean. Are you checking on-line while driving? Is so, you may have a serious safety issue that could destroy both you and your car. If not, checking beforehand without instant knowledge of traffic conditions is IMO near worthless.

+1 Maybe texting is good idea while driving?

+1 Yeah, there's never an accident after I leave the house.

I used it until it expired. Not worth renewing. In NY it was nto accurate at all. Too slow to update.
