to start off , it's not the cigarette lighter that's broken, it's the aux port it goes into that's broken, i.e. the female end, tried searching for replacement part, couldnt find any. any ideas?

btw, it broke cus there was a penny that got stuck in, so a certain family member decided to dig dig dig with a screw driver and it ceased to function since

 

Did you check the fuse? It could be that vs. the port being broken.

 

any idea which fuse? feel lazy dont wanna look thru the service manual's pdf files that seem not to ever help me.

 

Sorry, no idea. The owners manual might have a fuse map too.

 

Then check the fuse blocks to see which one has that fuse listed - either near the driver's footwell or engine block.

 

should be in the footwell. Look on the cover, it lists all the components each fuse is for.

 

given it's not the fuse, any place that sells it?
