Whats behind the dash screen?

Hey, i wanted to know what kind of space was behind the OEM dash screen. i was going to get a magden computer (located somewhere else) and hook it up to a touch screen, but most of those are screens with drives behind them. Is there room for that or do i need to find a screen only? Where can i find a screen only? (ive googled for a while now)

The hard drive is located behind it, but there is space.

As for help doing what you want... google 'carputer'
And for a screen, checkout 'liliput' screens. They're a pretty popular carputer touchscreen

Sorry for the old thread bump ... there is actaully quite a bit of room behind the screen, but not enough for a Magden. Contact Lou at Amplified Motorsport. He has a Magden installed in his G37.
