Help: Fuel Economy Record

If I press the "Info" button on my nav unit and then select "Fuel Economy", I can look at my distance to empty, average fuel economy and instantaneous fuel economy. There's also a button labeled "View" that brings up a graph of fuel economy over time. It's titled "Fuel Economy Record", and according to page 4-9 of my owners manual - "the average fuel consumption history will be displayed in graph form along with the average for the previous Reset-to-Reset period".

Buy my graph is empty. Is anybody else's empty?

Have you ever reset your fuel average from the nav screen (not the dash)? It should record your last interval if you've done that.

Mine has always worked perfectly.

if you never reset it, there will be no graph because it won't be able to calculate any intervals you were driving at...i think

No, I've never reset it. I'll try that and see what I get.

you have to do it multiple times throughout your driving... because it measures each interval you set... so yeah if you ever remember doing bar graphs in grade school, it's basically like this.

As stated above, resetting the latest fuel economy transfers the result onto a bar graph that you can view. You’ll start off with just the last one, but the bar graph record will show the last ten resets, with the last one a slightly darker color on the right. The best time to reset, of course, is upon every fill up.

It doesn't seem very intuitive... but then again, the UI for our cars it pretty horrid anyway.
