Video doesn't show up?

Yes, I have the correct apple composite cables, and the car's parking brake is engaged. All I get is a blank screen on both my ipod classic and also the nav screen. Anyone have any ideas? All help is greatly appreciated!

There is a setting, at least on my IPod, where you say you are using an external video source so it uses the cable. I would test this on your TV first just to make sure you have the correct cable and that it works before wasting your time on why it is not working in the G.

+1 There is a TV Out setting in the Video Settings that has to be turned on.

I will try it on the TV, didn't think about that. The car is in park with the brake engaged and the ipod is set to TV out. Thanks for all your replies!
