Seat settings no brake mod?

Ok, I know we can't discuss video on this board, but how about seat settings? I hate having to pull the parking break to switch from setting #1 to setting #2. Anyone figured out which wire to cut and ground?

Specifically... I like they idea of the side mirror tilting down in reverse mod, but upon thinking about it, I don't really want the mirror to tilt down every time I am in reverse. I only want it on those rear occasions that I am parallel parking next to a high curb.

A simple and free solution for cars that only have one driver is to make setting 1 and 2 the same other than the mirror. Then I can simply push the button to tilt my mirror down. However, I first have to pull the e-brake which is dumb.

Also, my car gets valeted every day. Usually they leave my seat alone, but sometimes they move it and I don't notice it at first. When I do notice it I am already driving and I have to pull over and pull the e-brake in order to press 1 so my seat returns to the proper setting.

It would be so nice to make the seat settings work all the time.

Before you enter the car, lock and then unlock the car with the inteli key. The seat and mirrors will revert back to position number 1. You do have to "train" your inteli key to position 1 before you can do this.

Yeah, I've thought about doing that, but it kinda defeats the nicety of never having to touch the key. I always just open my door with the handle button.

You don't have to use the ikey to unlock the car for this to work. You only have to have it paired to the seat setting, Then you can use the button or the key.

Once you pair the IKey(s), the unlock button will recall the seat settings for whichever Key that is in your pocket,

Ok cool. I'll have to set that up then (since I do keep my key and gave valet my 2nd one).

I'd still like to be able to press "2" to adjust the mirror without having to pull the e-brake though.
