Question A newbie to audio in vehicles

First, let me say that I am a complete newbie when it comes to audio in vehicles. Although I feel as though the current premium Bose system sounds okay, I would like make it sound even better! I would like to get a clearer bass and improve the sounds frequencies.

Can someone please recommend a good website to familiarize myself with not only the components but also technical aspects of each component? Is there a place that is dedicated just for G's? When I search this forum I get lost with all your expert discussion on specifics and it’s hard for me to grasp the basic concept of what the sound will be like.

I am not looking to make it sound louder but just sound better. If it helps, my music choices consist of Rock and Techno. Thanks

I need our system OEM specifics regarding amp power and speaker sizes and depth.

I want to make sure that if all I do is replace the speakers, I would be able to produce a better sound. Would I have to change the amp? Is the OEM amp allow to add subwofer?
