Cant find a Remote Tap for adding an amp!
Need help...
I have tried the Grey wire as the Amp diagram posted and I have tried the White wire and its not working...
All that works is the yellow battery wire... I need something that will turn the amp on and off....

I took the signal just before the woofer amp (less cluttered than the full amp) and used the wire that is in the #3 slot. I don't remember if it was green or gray, but just try and use the diagram and look at the connector. It does work, just double check the wire position.

I did that.... It was grey... the number 3 was grey... It was in the white harness going into the small top amp... NO WORK... I dont have a clue why?
I also tried the RCA cable way... soldering onto 8 and 9 on the white connector into the small amp and It worked till I turned up the volume a little and then it was like the small bose amp cut out into protection mode....
I am soo confused...

Does everything work again after you disconnect it? And the RCA's that you soldered onto the wires are not grounding out?
I can't think of any other reason that it is not working. As long as no wires are touching each other (as I am sure you don't have any), and the inputs and outputs are correct and unless there is an issue with the new amp. I can't see why it wouldn't work. When I installed mine I didn't have any issues so I can't tell what problems there are.
Maybe dillyyo can take a crack at this.
Has anybody else installed an amp yet and could shed some light?

Everything worked when i used a hi lo convertr off the rear deck speakers... and when I put the remote wire against my power wire it sounded GREAT!...
I just cant figure a way to find a remote turn on that works...
I used the Grey number 3 like eveyone said they used and the amp would not turn on at all....

Do you have a multi-meter or a 12 volt light meter? If you do double check that there is a voltage running thru the trigger wires when you turn it on. If you don't have a meter you can use a 12v light bulb. If you do have a power going thru the wire to the Bose sub amp than maybe the wire you are using for the trigger is broken.

I had the 12 volt meter and when i touched the grey number 3 and grounded the other needle it glowed red...? but it still would not turn on my AMP... now when i put the remote wire up to the yellow wire that is the 24/7 hot wire it came on....
