Cant find a Remote Tap for adding an amp!

YOu can buy an adapter that goes onto the end of your 0 AWG power wire to reduce it to 4 AWG. Tsunami makes one. I found this one on ebay but I'm sure your local shop could get one.

Another option is to just trim the end of the 0 down to 4 so that it fits. Use a wire stripper for 4 AWG wire and it will cut the strands down to about the right size to fit in the amp.

Hey Max,

How did you end up getting the Remote Wire to work properly?
I'm having the exact same issue with the Gray BOSE remote wire...

Some amps need a full 12v signal to cut on... the one on the bose is a couple volts lower than 12v so some amps wont cut on with it... some will....

Just run your remote wire to a switched fuse in the fuse box. THats what i always do.
