G37 Navi and GPS

Hello all,
I am the proud owner of a G35 coupe and I am VERY interested in the G37 Coupe. The question I have that the dealer has not been able to answer is:

Can the navigation system be used as a recovery tool in the case a G37 (equipped with navi) gets stolen?

Thanks in advance.

I haven't heard of this, nor read it in the manual, or seen any options in the menu for this.

no, you would still need to purchase Lojack or equal.

The car has a GPS receiver only. Lojack uses a transmitter activated by the police to track the car. I believe OnStar is the only stock system that will track the car.
