So I decided to get a new setup. Rays Gramlights 57Xtreme. They were that mag blue color but I got them repainted. Now before I start getting the haters for removing the original color, IDC. I don’t like rice! I got enough ish from my friends and told them the same lol.
So what color did you end up painting them? I have that same Graphite Shadow G37 only mine is a Sedan. The challenge is finding a dark enough shade of grey that it is visibly darker than the car without going full blown black (or at least not gloss black because than you kind that black blob look IMO). I'm considering just grabbing some Raijin's and powdercoating a charcoal grey color but I still have hopes that I'm going to stumble across the perfect wheel that's already in the right color and with a 9-9.5" width I can run square around my sport brakes.*

Lol what u see in the pics is the color I got them in lol. I don't remember the exact name of the color but it's a pearl gray color. As I mentioned when I first got the wheels, they were mag blue
I finally got my new wheels and tires mounted up! And yes, the car will be going lower in the future (still stock suspension), but I had to get rid of those 17's. They aren't the fanciest, but when you're expecting your first child, they were a compromise of looks and budget. (Pardon the Malibu, I'll get better pics when I clean the car up)
Wheels: Konig Oversteer Opal
Size: 18x9 +35
Tires: BF Goodrich G-Force Comp 2 A/S 245/45R18
Wheel weight: 22.35lbs
Not sure if they will clear big brakes
The angle of the picture is weird, but the wheels are completely flush on the sides. No spacers needed. When the car is lowered, it should tuck in nicely.
I've been trying to find a pic for 18x9+35 with 245/45/18 for my Q50 and came across your post . Do you mind sharing a better pic from photobucket? Sorry, I't pretty blurry.
I'm hoping this will fit my 15 q50, considering they are the same OEM specs of 17x7.5+45 with 225/55/17. I'm ready to pull a trigger on these Konigs and I hope you can help me out
When I first bought my car, a buddy of mine looked at the design and called them duckfeet. I mentioned it here on the forum, and it stuck. To this day, if someone says "duckfeet", you know they're talking about the OEM Sport Package 18" rims.
These are my winter wheels, mounted with snow tires.
18" Enkie G37 Sport Sedan wheels
Staggered at 18x7.5" in the front, 18x8.5" in the rear.
In the pics below, they're dropped on Swift lowering springs front and year, with 15mm wheel spacer adapters.
As a general rule, no one here really likes the duckfeet. I think when dropped and spaced, they look OK. Either way... winter wheels.
Will these sport 18 rims fit on a g37s coupe? I have a local guy selling a set of 4 and I am wondering if they will clear the big brakes on my g37s?
No idea what brand, they're just cheap reps. No spacers, just perfect fit. Was going to go back to my nice 20" wheels, but the ride is so nice, I'm sticking with these for now.
Yesterday Firestone installed four Enkei OEM sport staggered 18s on my journey Sedan. They messed it up. They installed 225/50R18 ✅ on 18x8.5 ✖️ on the front ✅✖️
and...
245/45R18 ✅ on 18x7.5 ✖️ on the rear ✅✖️
Here are two pics. If you look closely you can see the wide wheel on the front. Also. I'm very disappointed with all you guys who said the 245/45R18 couldn't fit on the 18x7.5. Here on the rear you can see it fits quite nicely. When my 225/50R18 fronts are done I'll do 245/45R18 all round.

@Pato A. Vidal
would suggest 245/50 R18 or it would mess it up ? The total difference is like +2.5%
for 245/45 R18 it’s like +/- 0.7%
what tires would you suggest I get ? Which ones did you get ? I am looking for good ones but less road noise.
did you also lower your car ?
thanks
I think you should get the OEM spec size. You can go all corners with 245/45R18. I highly recommend Yokohama tires any type. They are all great on the infiniti. I wouldn't go with 245/50R18 because you gain ground clearance and raise your center of mass. That will adversely affect stability and handling. The tires I got were Firestone Firehawks. I already plan to switch to Yokohama when these tires are done. I only got them to offset the cost of the wheels. I did not lower my car. I looked at a ton of Gs and noticed that the guys with 19+ needed to lower because they gained too much ground clearance. And I generally prefer to stay within factory specs. 18s have the best look on a stock suspension. Also a good middle ground between the comfort of 17s and stiffness of 19s.
Update Since my last post I've been back to Firestone to fix the tire to wheel mix-up. Now it's all correct; Rear 😱🤷🏿♂️😁 245/45R18 on 18x8.5 ✅✅ Front 225/50R18 on 18x7.5 ✅✅ Firestone Firehawks. Future: 245/45R18 Yokohama AVID ASCEND GT740 all round.
