Test pipes with Muffler delete

Since so many people have been asking this question lately I decided to make a short video of how mine sound. Stock catback other than straight pipes after mid-pipe. Max rev was 3K in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7bJW...ature=youtu.be

Sounds good! Can we get some revs above 3k and maybe some pulls on the road videos?

Yeah, unless the engine is loaded, you don't get a proper idea of the sound.

That sounds pretty good so far, same tone as the muffler delete, just louder. Driving away video please! In car would also be appreciated.

Bailey Brewer created three nice videos of the his muffler delete. I'm going to eat crow and say the delete is very much livable by my standards. I thought it would be crazy loud but the resonators do a good job. Gotta get this done before my trip up the East Coast next year.

I was also predisposed to LOL at the idea of a muffler delete... until I got up close to a G-Coupe with the OEM setup less muffler. There's no denying, I liked it. I wouldn't like it 24/7, or after 10 minutes of highway driving, but if you like a loud exhaust, this simple mod makes an awesome first impression.

Man, that thing is going to be loud at 2-3K RPM under load. I'm curious to see what she sounds like under a WOT in car clip.

What brand test pipe did you go with?

How bad does the car smell now? You getting fumed out with the a.c. going or any staining of your rear bumper?
