DE test pipe on HR??

Im trying to see if the 03-06 DE nissan Z test pipe will work on my 09 g37x sedan. Everything I've read says the exhaust parts are interchangeable but the seller doesnt think so. Any true answers?

Will not work. DE engines have a different header to CAT flange.

Youre not looking carefully. Look at the triangular flange. Specifically, look at where the triangle tapers. In the DE triangle taper, the mounting hole is a lot closer to the center. In the HR flange taper, the mounting hole is a lot farther from the center. It wont fit. They wont make a separate model if the DE mounted to the HR.

I think what modme is saying is that the DE flanges are more of an equilateral triangle, whereas the HR ones are more isosceles
