Phase 1.2
Pre Chin spoiler Install:
Post Chin spoiler Install:
Phase 1.2.1 would be window tinting here:
I got Formula One Pinnacle, I went with 50% which combined with the 88% OEM window tint gives me 38%. (50% + 12% = 62% light rejected, hence 38% light allowed in) MD law is 35%. People get it darker than 38% all the time, but I prefer the slightly visible look. It's not a privacy thing for me. Besides, it doesn't matter which Pinnacle % you choose, you still get 60% heat rejection and 99.9 UV protection.
I got Air Blue film for the front windshields as it is virtually clear, with a slight blue color. This gives you 43% heat rejection and 99.9% UV protection on the whole front windshield…all the time.

Phase 1.3 the final release of the 1.x series.
Before (I wanted a pic in front of the outpatient hospital before surgery-early in the AM):
Here is one without an artistic bent:
After (8 hours later that afternoon- list of mods are in my signature...and, yes, I did have an alignment right away. I will have another done in a couple of months when things settle out. As Ian at MA-Motorsports said: 'There's a lot of new rubber down there, plus springs, let it all find a home, then we'll do another alignment' which sounded reasonable to me):
On to phase 2.x next

If you like subtle, look into getting the Sport Package side-sills. At first you might think, "Huh?" Or maybe that's something you wouldn't notice otherwise. And you could be right. ... few people see the difference. But if you're into subtle visual upgrades, that would be right up there. Particularly since that's where your eyes are now that you installed the flaps.
Honestly, it was a few years before I realized splash guards were an option. I wrongly assumed it was how all G's were equipped.
Also, with the window tint, your non-sport headlights seem overly silver-white. Vibrant Red really pulls off painted headlight assemblies well, like it should have come that way factory.

Thanks for the feedback, Rochester!!
Those are both excellent suggestions. I see what you mean with both.
I will have to look for some sills and check the threads for headlight paint.

Nice, clean white light. Not too white, I'm guessing. Overly white LED becomes somewhat useless at night trying to read and whatnot. But it looks really cool.
You going to do the GT-R lens swap? https://www.myg37.com/forums/build-t...ml#post3772504

Thanks guys those are all great suggestions. Get ready; this is pretty long. Freshen up that coffee...
Those GT-R lenses are great. I'm gonna stick with the current 'frost' ones until I get restless. More on restlessness and obsession later.
I looked into the sport side sills and they won't currently work for me. I installed the non-sport splash guards and the sport side sills need sport splash guards to fit. Right now since they're so new, I don't want to remove them, add the sport splash guards, and then install the side sills. ~$500 turn-around on that.
It's not eating at me...like the other suggestions. These two things have gotten under my skin (grill and lights). I can't rest until I have a solution. (I can be a bit obsessive, but I'm working on it )
I am on the hunt for a midnight black front grill. No luck with that yet. Thought there was an eBay OEM for $200...but no. Need to really comb our FS section.
I am also obsessed with a treatment for the headlights. I have a couple of issues with the lights though. And it's bugging me.
1. I don't want to remove my headlights myself. Too many horror stories of broken tabs and whatnot. Just looking at eBay for sport headlights and 90% had broken tabs. I just try to live within my current skill limits. Also the sport headlights don't look dark enough. Not sure...have to see them in person.
2. I can't be without my G while work is being done on my headlights. Too many sport practices, work, etc. you get the picture, I'm sure. This is my only vehicle. I suppose I could rent a car... Or show up in Brooklyn for couple of days while One Eighty does their magic...
Maybe I should just wait and enjoy for a while. I have a LT CAI, a CAT-BACK and an UPREV in the next month or two. But I'm not good at waiting for things when I really want them. Makes Birthdays and Christmas a b*tch for my family because I always get what I want when I want it...nothing left for gifting...
As always, thank you, and any feedback is welcomed and encouraged,
Sean

Hadn't occurred to me, but makes total sense. Oh well.
Force yourself to slow down on the mod schedule, otherwise you'll burn out on the hobby. If not an actual budget plan (because money), at least set up a modification plan with target months & years on when you want to get things done.

That's excellent advice.
I forgot to mention I have a GT-SPEC FSTB coming. I might be going commando with you on the hood insulation/matting.
Though I may placate myself with a rear window spoiler. Subtle and relatively cheap.
