Very nice. And your SN on a custom licence place, too. Wow.

And here I thought I'd be the only one with that roof wing at the meet-up.

Then again, you probably thought you'd be the only Vibrant Red Sedan, until Pedro shows up with his 6MT.

Thanks. Should be fun. I'm looking forward to it.

I did think, based on the pic from the last meet, that I might be only VR there. And wow!! A 6MT!!! I do believe in unicorns now

Phase 2.5

Midnight Black OEM Grille:

Easy install. Just used the DIY cross-reference with Infiniti's instructions...also at the meet-up last weekend people were kind enough to point out EXACTLY which clips, nuts and bolts need to be removed.

Really? That was kind. IIRC, my advice was to just man-up and do it.

Looks a LOT better, doesn't it? Good, clean mod.

Yes. Thank you very much. Vib Red needed the black grille, especially with the tinted windows as you had suggested previously.

Phase 2.6

Bay Front View:

Note: This is a recent pic. Rochester's comments below were accurate.

Injen SP1997-P and GT-Spec Front Strut Tower Bar. A little bling and a little performance (very little ). And yes, I know I need to detail my engine bay. Just wanted to pee in the sand...

Looking good, Sean.

Now just replace some of those corroded bolts. No point in looking at those when you open your hood, particularly now that you're going to be opening your hood a lot more.

Very nice looking engine bay, how are you liking the sound from the CAI, have a chance to get on it yet?

Yes, I have. I haven't taken the engine bay mat off so it is a bit muted in the car with the windows up. But when I have them down and the roof open it has a deeper growl from the front. Particularly in the mid range.

All in all the outcome of these two mods was the opposite of what I thought would happen.

I thought the FSTB would be an appearance mod, except my front end feels a bit more composed now.

The CAI has added some punch and some growl, but not a heck of a lot.

These could be placebo mods or in the case of the CAI, a reverse placebo mod. Anyhow, i really do need more seat time to fully asses the impact.

Phase 2.7

This is the last of phase 2.*.

Resonated High Flow Cats and 18" Resonated Cat-Back. Both Fast Intentions products.

Pictures of the Cats installed were not worth posting as the are pretty much hidden.

Here is the end product of the Cat-Back:

I am very jealous of those tips! Let's hear some sound clips. And, do I spot some gloss black vinyl?

Did this just happen today? Cats and cat-back, both?

That's quite a transformation, Sean. You're head must be spinning.

Thank you very much. And yes, that's gloss black vinyl. Though a different 'texture' of the wrap, Rochester's vinyl valance set off his tips so well I couldn't resist.

Yep, it sure is spinning; both at once. Headed to the shop this morning all quiet and serene, only to head home at 1:00 PM with a hurricane beneath me. It sounds great and has a bit more pop under my right foot...

Thanks Guys, I couldn't be happier with the results.
