Hey guys, I'm going to be getting niche m204 vosso's for my g in the spring, and I want to make sure the offset is right. Looking at 20x9 in the front, and 20x10 in the back, what should I be looking at for offset? As of now the car is on stock suspension and has the sport brake kit. When I eventually do lower the car a bit, it won't be much. Thanks!

 

I’m no expert but I’ll try to help. Without moving to the extremes, I think you want something between +25 (aggressive / sticking out / meaty look) to +45 (more conservative, doesn’t stick out). Mid 30s is probably a safe median but do your research, I’m not an expert.

 

What tire size are you wanting to go with?Figure out while wheel and tire combo you want then your offset can be figured out a bit better.

 

Well I'm not sure, what mm fits a 10 and 9 inch wheel? Probably a 245/40 and 255/40.. or a 245/35 or 255/35..

 

245 and 255 are too narrow for proper fitment on a 10" wheel. 245 just barely fits on a 9" wheel

This is a 255/40 on a 10 inch wide tire. So this is what it will look like. As far as a 9 inch wide tire the factory spec on a sport model is 245/40 on the rear.im sure you can find plenty of photos on line of how it looks. I'm not sure what your end goal look is.Nice fat tires for traction or slim for looks.find out how you want the look to be then we can get a better offset figure.

 

Just to clarify is this going on a coupe or sedan?
If a coupe you are looking at
Front 20×9 +27
Rear 20×10+40
depending on your tire size on rear you may have to trim a small piece off the bumper bracket.

 

I have a 2012 coupe. As for what I'm looking for, I don't really need the extra traction, it's more of a situation where I just like how that will look with a wider wheel on the back.

 

Not sure what you mean by wider wheel. If you want the wheel closer to being flush I think a 255/35 all around would work out good.

If you want a fat tire look, a 285/30 on the rear is a next good option.

 

I kinda just like the aggressive look of a wider wheel setup in the back is all

 

Alright, so o figured out the offset I need thanks to fitment industries, now I just gotta figure out exactly what size tire I need to run. My car won't be on air, sometime I'll be getting either coilovers or lowering springs for it, but I don't ever plan on "slamming" it, I had a civic like that once and hated it. I also don't want to roll/pull/trim the fenders either.

 

just an FYI, I have the 2012 g37xs, and the factory tires are 225/45's all around
