I'm relatively new here - just last year I picked up a 2014 Q60 red sport.
I really didn't like the look of the 225s splayed out to the rims. They were due for replacement so I went up a size.
I put 245/45ZR19 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires on the stock 19"x8.5" rims. Only about 2% bigger, so they are within the often recommended increase of 3%.
So far...
love the look
like the slightly softer ride (also part of the goal)
a little bit more body roll - but still corners like it's on rails
way less tire noise vs. worn out Yokohamas
no darting (winters are 245/45R18 Michelin X-Ice)
speedo is bang on vs. phone GPS
Now the pictures I promised. Hope this works.
Love the new stance. Fits in the front Fits in the rear Old vs. new Old splays out from tread to rim
