Best wheel specs for performance?

So im planning on getting another set of wheels and tires for the late-spring/summer and i was just wondering what the best wheels and tires spec to have for performance? More specifically, for my 2011 g37x sedan, whats the widest tires i can get in front and rear, whats the best or at least top few tire brands to get (im thinking of getting the pilot sports because i heard they're the best overall however im most likely not going to the track anytime soon so idk the best brand for street), whats kind of wheel should i look for in terms of weight and sizing. Thank you in advance.

Forged Monobloc is the best type of wheel. It'll be the lightest and strongest.

As far as widths, you're gonna get a lot of opinions. I run a 9" in the front and a 10.5" in the rear. In retrospect I might have done a 10" in the rear. I run a 245 and a 275 tire. Your's is AWD however so usually you want a squared setup. You might be best off with a 9" all around. The key is to make sure your wheel (WHATEVER YOU CHOOSE) clears your brake calipers. It's called offset. Google is your friend.

In your own opinion what do you think would be better with awd, the 245s all around or some 255s? I want more grip than my stock wheels but I feel like if I get wheels too wide it would ruin some of the handling especially since I have no plans of uping the power with FI currently. Also if i move up a size to 18s or 19s (currently on stock 17s) how bad of a drop in ride quality will I feel? Is the upgrade in handling worth the drop in ride quality? Also do you have a recommendation for tire brand?

9" square seems a sweet spot for the AWD Sedan. Note that the factory 18" Sedan sport rims are 7.5" wide. Odds are you'll be finding an 18" or 19" diameter wheel, and something super lightweight. When I was looking at wheels for this car years ago, the Enkei RPF1 and Forgestar F14 were standouts for cost, value and weight. IDK what's what today, but those come to mind.

Something else to think about... it's not just the weight of the wheels that come into play, because not all tires weigh the same. Do your research.

Figure out size and offset and whether or not you'll ever been dealing with a BBK upgrade. You could spend hours and hours reading through the wheel forum. Go for it.
