G37S steering pulling at times
Hi everyone, I purchased a 2011 S sedan about six months ago at Carmax. It drives normally most of the time, but when the pavement is uneven, the steering wheel will pull left or right or sideways. I suspect the cheap tires the dealer installed before i bought it (Hercules). I previously had a g35 sedan and the steering never did this.
Can anyone else with an S sedan confirm that this is not normal? I don't want to replace new tires, but will, if it fixes the issue.

Don't use cheap tires and check for correct tire pressure. Mine are 35lbs when cold

I don't have this problem on my winters (235/50/18 x-ice) but I do have my steering wheel pull on uneven pavement on my summers (265/40/19 firehawk indy 500) and it's pulls aggressively too. '11 g37xs w/ squared setup.
EDIT: Also I run 35 psi on winters, and I used to have pull at 35psi on summers but I did a calculation based on weight and a couple others things a while back and I should be running 32psi on summers. So maybe mine pulled due to pressure being higher than it should be? 38 psi also seems high.

Tire pressure will only affect pulling by changing the shape of the tread. The higher the pressure, the rounder the tread gets and the less rubber that actually contacts the road.
I think you guys are on the wrong track, pun not intended. Wide tires, and 225 is considered wide, tram-line more.
I suspect tread pattern is the culprit.

Well, after getting new tires and driving on them for several days, the difference is dramatic. The pulling when driving and braking on uneven pavement is gone and highway cruising requires less correction.
The dealer I bought it from had installed Hercules Ironman tires and I replaced them with Kuhmo ECSTA Platinum.

I have noticed the G37 tramlines worse than other cars I've driven. And it's not just because the tires are wider than most. Reducing the tire pressure definitely helps.
