Lugs
I've had good luck w/ Gorilla lug nuts, black would look good on your silver set, and they have a lock "system" where you can buy the whole matching kit, just BE SURE to select the box "12x1.25" for your Infiniti thread size https://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Autom...65Q9FPVF6T2KW3
I'm a little afraid of how black lug nuts would look on my car. Maybe I'll give it a shot.
I agree with Brad. Black on a silver wheel, for a gray car with tinted windows... that could be real nice.
McGards come in black.

Here are a number of reasons why I like them.

Here are a number of reasons why I like them.
- They're reasonably priced.
- The two-piece design has a purposeful appeal, seating the aluminum center snug against the wheel without scraping while you torque down.
- The cap end is more flat than the typical rounded top, but still gently rounded on the edge. It makes for a good look, IMO. Certainly better than the typical button-cap design.
- It's an American company. Not that it matters to me, but since it is, I'll point that out anyway.
- The unique-to-McGard, 8-sided spline drive design makes for good-enough as wheel-lock deterrent. At least, in my head it does. Typical spline drives are 6-sided and generic. If someone wants to steel these (and your wheels), they will need a McGard adapter. In other words, you have 5-lug continuity.
Sorry for the confusion I seemed to have created. I figured that "everyone" would know what I'd meant when referring to lug nuts as lugs. I see how it's possible, but assumed all would understand what I'm looking for. Lug nuts are the purchase I need to make. Thanks for the responses.
So, does anyone know why some prefer open-ended or racing lug nuts? Is it simply a preference or is there another benefit?

Open end lug-nuts tend to be a bit lighter, but they will also allow you to run longer studs in the future without the possibility that the lug-nuts will bottom out before they are fully seated.
FWIW I'm running Project Kics Iconix lug-nuts, which have an open ended design but are capped off. This helps keep the water out when washing your car and in turn keeps your wheels cleaner (no more water that might get trapped in the lug-nuts dripping on your pretty wheel lips).
I can't offer helpful contributions until I'm sure of the subject. Anyone could become a pedantic misanthrope after two decades of typical forum jumbled writing.
