Spacers are a personal preference if you ask me. I don't use spacers except for when I actually need to push the wheels out for a particular reason, like to clear big brakes. I have never used them cosmetically so I recommend lower it then ask yourself if you are happy with the look?

Let me tell you how this will play out...you will drop it and your wheels will look sunken in and like shiz. Then everyone will recommend you try 20mm up front and 15mm in the rear. You will do more research and then purchase some approximately around that range. Then some old timers will hop on and tell you that the wheel spacers will screw up your bearings, change your scrub radius and your spring rate. Which will destroy the car and cause it to blow up in a fiery bomb ....

Like all good myths, there are grains of truth in G37sGraphite's post.

Spacers are more then fine as long as you get something reputable to tide you over until you find properly fitting wheels. Most of us here have slapped on spacers at one point or another and we're all fine. Like Graphite said, you'll find there are voodoo topics on this site that cause people to lurch out of the cracks of the internet and this is one of them.
