Not sure which area gets the most traffic
, but I have a problem that I didn't know existed. 2011 IPL...5 wheel studs....but there is also an additional piece between two of the studs. Looks to be held in place by a 12mm bolt. Can't mount my new wheels with it there. HELP PLEASE?
If I remember correctly that is a bolt designed to keep people from accidentally putting the rear wheels on the front of the car. Just remove it and put on your wheels.
Pardon my naivete, with front wheels spinning...how do you remove it? Do you need someone
on the brake? Sorry, it's been a long day
If you don't have an impact wrench, either have someone step on the brake or if you're by yourself you can stick a flat head screwdriver in the rotor to keep it from spinning while you take out the bolt.
