I have an opportunity to buy some vossen rims ... 19" x 8.5 offset 33... I have a g37x sedan
Is this a decent offset for the car? I am looking to put 245 40 or 45 19 on. I am not dropped and if I did, it would only be like an inch or something. Is this rim and tire combo a good fit? Thanks for any help or advice....

 

That's a perfect fit w/ a 245/40/19, the wheels won't be super flush but will still fit well and won't have any concerns of rubbing. Don't run 245/45s, too tall.

I have read a ton of your replies ...lol I feel more confident buying these rims and I will run the tire size you recommend . This is a long shot..lol but would you know how to tell a knock off VC3 by chance? Thanks again....Scott

 

Scott, if it's a VC3 it WILL be a replica, lol since they are CV3s

Be sure they have the raised Vossen lettering in the barrel, along w/ that valve stem placement

 

I'm not sure if the earlier versions of the CV3 had the Vossen stamp on the outer rim, but it should definitely have all the markings on the inside of the wheel spokes.
